Questions, before the downbeat

How far in advance should we book?

For weddings and Saturday-night events we recommend reaching out 6-12 months ahead. For weekday and off-season dates we can often accommodate shorter notice , ask us about availability.

Do you provide your own sound and lighting?

Yes. The Combo and Big Band travel with a complete digital sound system suitable for indoor or outdoor settings, plus a 4-bank spotlight rig for stage and accent lighting. The Trio brings a streamlined setup ideal for cocktails and dinners.

Can we request specific songs for our event?

Absolutely , we love working with clients to shape the setlist. Request your favorites and we’ll weave them in alongside our core repertoire. For weddings, we’ll talk through processionals, first dances, and key moments.

How long do you play, and how are the sets structured?

A typical event is two to three 45-minute sets with breaks in between. We’ll tailor the structure to your timeline , cocktail jazz to ceremony to dance, or a continuous dance-floor evening.

Are you insured?

Yes , the band carries full liability insurance and is happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue if requested.

What sets the Vintage Swing Band apart?

Most of our musicians don’t take a paycheck , the fees we earn fund music, equipment, and scholarships for young local musicians. Booking us is also a small investment in the next generation of Big Band players.
